Kleenzyme Man 20000 is a naturally occurring Mannanase enzyme that breaks down polysaccharides made from mannose, which is a simple sugar. In many plants, mannanes in seeds are carbohydrate reserves
The ability of mannanase to hydrolyse insoluble mannan into a smaller polymer of mannose (oligosaccharide) makes them water soluble that flushes off stain at the time of fabric washing or rinsing. This makes mannanase valuable in laundry or dishwashing detergents.
Application of microbial enzymes in the detergent industry is well known. Among them, the most frequently used enzymes are proteinases, lipases, amylases, and cellulases. Lately, alkaline β-mannanases which show stability toward detergent components are increasingly being used as stain removal boosters in certain laundry segments. β-mannanase hydrolyzes different mannan based materials such as guar gum, glucomannan, galactomannans and others.
