Corzyme is a high-temperature alpha-amylase is made from the best strain of Bacillus licheniformis through deep fermentation and extraction technique. FDA regards the strain as safety.


Alpha-amylase is obtained by liquid submerged fermentation and extraction of Bacillus licheniformis. It has excellent thermostability, which is widely used in the industry of alcohol, beer, vinegar, soy sauce, textile, printing, dyeing, papermaking and other fermentation fields.
Saccharification is the second step in the process. A glucoamylase enzyme is used to break down the starch molecules and the dextrins. This enzyme is capable of achieving the complete degradation of the starch to fermentable sugars (glucose). During fermentation, these sugars are converted into alcohol by yeast in simultaneous saccharification and fermentation process.
